When I saw an online article about Dart Arena in West Chester opening – an indoor Nerf arena – Ohio’s only Nerf War Arena! I knew this sounded like something my son and his buddies would love to do!
My next immediate thought was, THIS would be the perfect thing to do for Austin’s 9th Birthday party with his Soccer Team! I was right! They LOVED it!
All the Birthday Guests were upgraded to the premium blasters, they were suited up in vests and protective glasses. Austin, the Birthday Boy, got the Biggest MEGA Blaster! It was bigger than him! All the boys thought that was pretty cool!
In case you don’t know – A Nerf Blaster is a toy gun made by Hasbro that fires foam darts and foam balls. The foam darts and foam balls are not painful when they come in contact with your body.
Before they entered the arena they had the rules explained to them by their Host, Noah, who was a really fun young man! He kept things super exciting for the boys and was really accommodating! The teams played games like: King of the Hill, Last Man Standing, and Capture the Flag. This kept things interesting and fun for them!
There is a huge window with stools that looks directly into the arena so you can watch the game! My husband watched intently at the edge of his seat wanting to get in and play! I guess you never really do grow out of playing these type of games!
It was so nice to have a Nerf War here instead of at our house, where things would end up broken. The arena is the perfect space to play and fire the foam darts in any direction! There are no worries about things breaking or having to clean up after the game. It’s also a comfortable air-conditioned environment to enjoy a game, along with good music and cool lighting!
It wasn’t all boys that played! Ava and my niece Lily were able to get in on the action too!
