Trinity Gastro Pub, Great local pub for a Casual Dinner – Review

Trinity Gastro Pub has great curb appeal. It looks like an historic Irish pub from the outside. When you walk inside it is warm and inviting. The pub is beautiful and spacious, with lots of seating and a big bar.

I found it to be a great casual dining experience in a relaxing atmosphere. It is a wonderful local establishment with great food, reasonable prices and a nice setting.

They have a fully loaded bar with 24 beers on tap, as well as dozens of bottled beers, an extended wine list, and even more whiskey. They also feature a wide variety of upscale pub food.

We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday, it was fairly crowded. We were told to sit anywhere, and the hostess followed us to our table with the menus.

The food was fantastic!

For an appetizer, we chose Fried Stuffed Mushrooms. They were amazing!

For my entrée, I had the owner’s favorite and one of the features of the night, the Baked Haddock. It did not disappoint!  The Baked Haddock was topped with fresh blue swimmer crab meat, panko bread crumbs and cremini mushrooms in a sherry cream sauce (which was to die for) and served over basmati rice. The entree was accompanied by a rainbow vegetable medley.

My husband ordered the steak, vegetables and mashed potatoes. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Both of our entrees came with a house salad. I had the house dressing which was very good.

For dessert we had Fried Oreos and ice cream. It was a MUST!  Dessert was warm and the perfect amount of sweet to end the night!
Trinity Gastro Pub was named Cincy Magazine’s Best of the North for outdoor dining. So, of course, I had to check it out! They have patio dining (part of which is covered), complete with two stone fire pits, a collection of outdoor furniture, a fireplace and a HUGE mahogany wood bar (equipped with a flatscreen TV). All of this located right on the West Chester walking trail!

The staff was great. Very friendly and attentive.  Our waitress recommended the Reuben or the Fish & Chips. Both items looked good, and we saw a few tables ordering them. The Fish & Chips dinner was so large it could be shared. Overall, our experience was very positive, and we will be going back to try those items next time!
